Frequent Questions
- What do you mean by rock star treatment?
We believe that everyone deserves individualized treatment that meets their unique needs. That’s what you get when you’re a rock star, and at Hawthorne Dental we treat everyone that way. Everyone gets the rock star treatment from children to adults. This means we go the extra mile during every visit to ensure you’re comfortable, we take extra time if needed to address all of your questions, and when you need treatment, we make sure you leave with a smile you’re proud to flash.
- How does the CAD/CAM technology work?
Whenever you need a crown, onlay, or veneer, Dr. Watson uses the CAD/CAM technology to
take a digital photo of your prepared tooth, which eliminates the need for an impression tray—this is good news for our patients with a gag reflex. Since your treatment is completed in one visit, you will not need a temporary or an additional injection.
Part of what makes the CAD/CAM technology so effective is that it allows Dr. Watson to bond a restoration directly to the tooth, which makes it stronger. Also, Dr. Watson and his team control the quality of the restoration by milling it onsite. Be sure to ask how we can save you time and make the appointment even easier with our CAD/CAM technology.
- Do you take my insurance?
Yes, we accept your insurance unless your carrier restricts who you can see. We work with most insurance providers, we gladly process your insurance claims, and we help you maximize your insurance benefits. If your insurance plan is a Preferred Provider Option (PPO) and we’re not on the list, please contact us anyway and we’ll check your out-of-network benefits. Most patients discover that benefit levels are approximately the same whether your care is provided by an in or out-of-network provider.
- Do you have payment options?
Yes. We accept checks, cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
We also offer financing through our financing partner, Care Credit. Care Credit offers many interest-free options and extended payment options with interest. If you need another option, please ask and we’ll see what we can provide.
